Is it private?
Yes. The chat file is read and analyzed in your browser. It is never uploaded to us or anyone else. We only store anonymous page events and, if you pay, the payment record from Stripe.
Does the other person find out?
No. Exporting a chat doesn't notify anyone, and paired never contacts anybody.
Which phones work?
iPhone and Android. Export the chat from WhatsApp (without media) and pick the .zip or .txt file here. Works in Safari, Chrome and other modern browsers.
Why does it cost money?
The free read shows where you stand. The full report (€2.99, one time) has every chart, the moments things changed, specific suggestions and a PDF. Paying for it means we don't need ads or your data.
Can it tell what the other person thinks or does?
No. paired sees patterns in how you text, nothing more. It can't know what someone does, feels or intends.
